SEVEN-DAY OPERATIONAL SCENARIO / ULANQAB
Compute-energy coordination
Forecast local wind and solar, then reschedule flexible compute jobs that have not started. Running jobs continue, with the battery and grid covering any shortfall.
15-MINUTE DEMONSTRATION
Shift flexible compute toward local renewables
The system forecasts wind and solar for the next 24 hours and reschedules only flexible jobs that have not started. Running jobs continue as planned.

Results and records
The system records the forecast, schedule and simulated receipt against the seven-day result.

Scheduling rules
Scheduling rules
- Only queued LP / batch cohorts may move within a six-hour completion window.
- Running and non-flexible demand is never pre-empted, paused or migrated.
- Wind and solar serve load first, then charge the battery; the grid fills the remaining deficit.
- Average queue delay
- 281 min
- Maximum queue delay
- 300 min
Where the data comes from
- Historical 15-minute wind and solar output from the supplied IEEE DataPort archive.
- Hourly production-field samples from Alibaba Cluster Trace GPU v2026, read by HTTP Range.
- Ulanqab project capacities from an Inner Mongolia Energy Bureau public notice.
Alibaba relative days are scenario-aligned to the 2022 energy week. They are not simultaneous observations and are not measured at this Ulanqab project.
The sampled Alibaba rows contained no pending GPU requests. The flexible queue is modelled from task types and priority shares; it is not an observed Alibaba queue.
